Completed Castle
I have learned alot of things about 3d modeling. I learned how to make basic shapes and contruct complex images. I also learned about correcting mistakes while creating my image, and that they can be easily fixed or imcorperated into my image.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
My biggest challege in 3d has been creating details in my image and learning the shortcuts. Theres so many of them! Once you write down the shortcuts and see them frequently they become easier and more convenient to use.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
If i were to create my castle all over again, I wouldnt get sick and miss 2 days. That was a bummer :( I would spend more time on the details and smaller aspects of my castle. Im satisfied with my final project but it lacks that little extra oomph, and I think it shows.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
My research sketch was very helpful. If I hadnt looked up pictures and sketched out a castle first, I would have a hard time pulling ideas for my casltle out of thin air. The sketch helped me to add more details to my castle that I otherewise would not have added.

Unfinished Castle
So this is what im currently working on in imd. Obviously, its the start of a castle. We're just putting together the basic form of the castle then later on this week we'll be learing how to apply patterns such as bricks and water so it doesnt just look like colored legos. I think it'll turn out nice, so far im pleased with it.

3ds Max images
Here are some things that i created in 3ds Max this week. Trust me, its harder than it looks.
The table and chair is my personal favorite. Although it was not apart of the assignment, I liked how it turned out. I learned alot of things this week in 3ds Max. I gained alot of knowledge about this program in a very short amount of time thanks to Mr. Fitzer :] I learned how to create basic shapes and incorperate them together to create more complex images.
